Oatmeal & Egg Whites

Believe it or not, this is a really tasty breakfast.  I made this almost every morning during my freshman year of college, and it is still a treat!  It’s a great option if you are looking to tone up or just eat a little more cleanly.  Give it a try!

Oatmeal & Egg Whites

1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
4 egg whites
Good maple syrup

1.  Mix the oats and egg whites together in a bowl.
2.  Spray a large skillet with non stick cooking spray.
3.  Pour the oatmeal/egg white mixture into the skillet and cook over medium high heat until the egg whites are set.
4.  Transfer to your plate, sprinkle with cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup.
5.  Serve with your favorite fruit!
